William "Bill" Alexander Lee

William "Bill" Alexander Lee, 71, of Fontaine, died Tuesday at St Bernard's Medical Center. Bill was retired from Southwestern Power Administration and attended Walnut Corner General Baptist Church. He was born January 28, 1938 in Hardeman County, Tennessee the son of the late Clyde Lee and Alberta Hooper Lee Bell. He was also preceded in death by his children, Brian, Lonnie and Kimberly Lee, great grandson, Aaron Nelson, brother, David Lee and stepfather, Jimmy Bell. Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Shelba Lee of the home; daughters and sons-in-law: Sue and Mike Simpson of Fontaine, Kelly and Dewayne Nelson of Walnut Corner; sons and daughters-in-law: Burt F. & Deniece Lee of Lafe, Ronnie and Cindy Lee of Jonesboro; grandchildren and their spouses: Burt A. and Nicole Lee, Keith and Audrey Lee, Deborah and Owen Smith, Shannon and Shannon Lee, Kimberly Lee, Christopher and Valerie Nelson and Bradley Nelson and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverends Bobby Wade and Marion Stringer officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery. Bill's grandchildren will be pallbearers. Jim Kidd, Bob Brown, Benny Martin, Brandon Martin, Max Moore, Ray Slatton, Lloyd Hefner will be honorary pallbearers.
