Walter Curtis Taylor

March 21, 1925 — October 2, 2010

Walter Curtis “Pud” Taylor, 85 of Marmaduke died Saturday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Walter was a farmer and of the Baptist belief. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Deward and Nora Ann McClendon Taylor and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Taylor of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Nahoko Taylor of Marmaduke, Wade and Tammy Taylor of Paragould; daughters and son-in-law, Lydia Ann Killian of Marmaduke, Regina Taylor of Memphis and Susan and Rick Thompson of Harrisburg. 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Cross, Gary Taylor, Dale Mitchell, Rocky Weber, Lance Easley and Briar Easley. Honorary pallbearers will be Melburn Sparks and Bob Gillian. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Foundation or the American Heart Association.
