Virgil Straub

December 15, 1957 — January 31, 2018

Virgil Albert Straub, 60, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at St. Bernards Medical Center . He was born in Paragould where he lived most of his life. He was of the Catholic faith. Virgil was the son of the late Joseph Matthew and Sue Frances Holloway Straub. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and David Straub.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta of the home; step-son, Larry (Renee) Bear of Marmaduke; sisters, Martha Hey of W. Carrolton, OH., Rose (Dan) Brashers of Coco, FL, and Cathy Carter of Paragould; brother, Joe (Mary) Straub of Winchester, VA; three grandchildren, Miranda Marie Bear, Gary Bear, and Alex Donahue; several Nieces and Nephews.

Rosary service will be Monday beginning at 6 PM at Heath Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8 PM. Funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Mary's Catholic church with Father Stephen Mallanga officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Owen, Bill Wood, Michael Price, Larry Bear, Kenneth Kenner, and Barry Greenway.
