Venetta Faye Bowery

Venetta Faye Carroll Bowery, 80, of Shadyside, Ohio, formerly of Paragould, passed away Tuesday in Ohio. She was an elementary school cook for over 20 years. Venetta was the daughter of the late Cletus and Itha Shewmaker Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Bowery, Sr.; brothers, Tommy, Gaylon, and Nelson Carroll; and nephew, Glenn Gibson.

Survivors include her son, John Bowery, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn Gibson of Marmaduke and Marilyn Price of Lafe; brother, Malcolm Carroll of Marmaduke; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday from 12-1pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 1pm with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial is in Hartsoe Cemetery.
