Velma Faye Mccrory

August 24, 1943 — January 16, 2018

Velma Faye McCrory, 74 of Marmaduke, died Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was a retired cook with Marmaduke Schools and a member of the Marmaduke 1st General Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Thomas McCrory; parents, William Ted
"W. T." and Mabel Jackson Hopkins and brother, Gerlard Hopkins.

Survivors include daughter, Tonya (David) Vanhorn of Marmaduke; son, Tommy McCrory of Marmaduke; grandchildren, Jacob (Krystal) Vanhorn, Alison (Alex) West and Nash McCrory; great grandsons, Koy West and Kyle Vanhorn; great granddaughter, Journi West; sister, Pat Hopkins; brothers, George Hopkins and Ted (Kay) Hopkins.

Visitation will be Friday from 11:00-1:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Heath Chapel with Revs. Bill Muse and Kenneth Hargrave officiating. Burial will be in Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please consider 1st General Baptist Church Building Fund in Marmaduke.
