Veda B. Underwood

Veda B. Underwood, 91, Paragould, died Monday, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was a retired pastor and member of Woodlands Hills Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Underwood, parents, Edgar and Viola McDonald, and two brothers. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law: Teresa Kay and Delbert Oden of Paragould; sons and daughters-in-law: Rudi and Sara Underwood of Paragould, Nickey and Amy Underwood of Sacramento, California; sisters: Freda Smith of Paragould and Zelda King of Conway; special niece, Rhea Bolin of Paragould; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:00 AM, Thursday with Reverend Carter Grindstaff officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
