Van Allen Barnett

Van Allen Barnett, 72, of Paragould, passed away Thursday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Barnett; step-father, Leon Manis; and his wife, Wanda "Ruth" Barnett.

Survivors include his mother, Agnes Evelyn Bishop of Paragould; sister, Paula (Rick) Briggs of Morgantown, West Virginia; brother, Tom (Ernestine) Barnett of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Lindsey Barnett (Scott Snyder) of Paragould; and fiancé, Anna Rawls of Paragould.

Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00-11:00 am at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Cardwell cemetery with Heath Vines officiating. Pallbearers are Ryan Barnett, Clay Barnett, Dewayne Monroe, Steven Rawls, Carlon Chipman and Rick Watkins. Online guestbook: www.heathfuneralhome.com.

In order to comply with CDC guidelines, there is a limitation of 80 people allowed inside the facility at one time. Face masks are required inside the building and friends are asked to practice social distancing.
