Tommy Joe Holifield

Tommy Joe Holifield, 69, of Paragould, died Friday in Paragould. Joe was a lawyer. He loved spending time with his family and scuba diving. He was an Air Force Veteran.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Helen Alley Holifield; brother, Jimmy Holifield; and sister, Helen Watts.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Holifield of the home; sons, Mike and Brian (Theresa) Holifield of Paragould, James(Jodi) Holifield of Little Rock, Eric Washington of Memphis, Michael (Kara) Washington of Little Rock, Jason Washington of Grand Cayman and brother, Dewayne (Pennie) Holifield of Memphis; sisters,Dean (Lucy) Hartwig of Blytheville and Glenda (Frank) Jones of Suffolk, VA; grandchildren, Chelsea, Brooke, and Cannon Washington,Katie Holifield, Wesley Washington, Shayla, Matthew, Alysha and Jaxon Holifield.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel.
