Terry G. Simpson

Terry G. Simpson, 68, of Paragould, passed away Thursday at his residence. He is the son of the late Harry and Mary White Simpson. He was retired from the Greene County Sheriffs Department and was a Mason. Terry was a veteran of the National Guard and a member of Lake Street Baptist Church. He is also preceded in death by grandson, Garrett Shawn Simpson; and two brothers, Michael Wayne Simpson and Johnnie Mack Simpson.

Survivors include one son, Terry Simpson, Jr., of Paragould; daughter, Heather Simpson (Mike) Robertson, of Paragould; mother of his children, Betty Simpson, of Paragould; two granddaughters, Makayla Dawn Simpson and Angel Stahl; one sister, Linda Hurst, of Paragould; four brothers, Jamie Simpson, of Paragould, Pete Simpson, of Rutherford, Tennessee, Harry (Vicki) Simpson, of Rutherford, Tennessee, and Travis Simpson, of Dyersburg, Tennessee; dear friend, Brad Herren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday at Heath Funeral Home from 12:30-2:30 pm. Funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm with Rev. Wayne Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood cemetery.
