Terry Barner

Terry Barner, 73, of Lafe, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 surrounded by loved ones after a short illness of metastatic lung cancer. Terry was born on March 24, 1948 in Lafe, Arkansas to the late Henry Edward and Elva Lorene (Morgan) Barner.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Maria Barner of the home; faithful companion, his dog Splash; twin sister, Sherry Barnett (Rick) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; sister, Eloise Coleman of Southaven, Mississippi; and numerous nephews, and nieces.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9-11 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lafe. The service will start at 11:00 am with Pastor Aaron Neugebauer officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Richard Barnett, Jamie Barnett, Michael Barnett, Steve Coleman, Steve Edgin, and Allen Gardner will serve as pallbearers.
