Stephen Larry Adams

Stephen "Steve" Larry Adams, 59, of Paragould, passed from this life on Friday, May 26, 2023. Steve was born in Paragould on December 4, 1963, to Rita Adams and the late Larry Adams. Steve was a 1982 graduate of Greene County Tech High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arkansas State University. Steve married Amy Honig on July 29, 1995. Steve loved the outdoors. This love was evident not only in his career but in his daily activities. Steve was co-owner of Adams Nursery & Landscaping. He took pride in the fact that he was able to teach a younger generation of men how to use a shovel. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and he raised rabbits and chickens. However, his favorite time spent was always with his girls. Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Larry Neal Adams; and uncles, Billy Mack Mangrum and Glen Edward Mangrum.

Steve is survived by his wife of 27 years, Amy Adams of Paragould; daughters, Sydney Adams and Shelby Adams of Fayetteville; mother, Rita Adams of Paragould; sister, Loranne (Brock) Atwill of Paragould; brother, Neal (Jamie) Adams of Paragould; nephews, Oliver Robinson of Paragould and Luke Atwill of Maumelle; niece, Jordon (Arjun) Sandhu of Scottsdale, Arizona; uncles, Jimmy Ray (Genieve) Mangrum and Larry (June) Mangrum; aunts, Patsy (Jimmy) Mangrum Hammon and Jean Carolyn Jones; and many cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 1-2 PM at First United Methodist Church in Paragould. A memorial service will begin at 2 PM with Rev. Dane Womack officiating. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Payton Guiot, Zachary Tuhoski, Bobby Prichard, Jacob Kellett, Jason Camp, John Roleson, Clint Beliew, and Garrett Stovall.
