Stella Irene Pauley

Stella Irene Pauley, 91, went to be the Lord welcomed by her loving husband Rev. Henry Pauley on Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Stella and Henry were married April 3, 1944, and Henry passed away on December 11, 1990. After Stella moved to the Mini-Rise in Paragould she had a hard time staying in her apartment. Stella would go around in the neighborhood gathering cans. The people in the neighborhood fondly called her "The Can Lady" She will be missed by a lot of people. Stella and Henry farmed several years in Greene and Clay County. They pastored several churches over a 40 year period of time. Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Henry Clay Pauley; parents, William Calvin and Minnie Myrtle Plumlee Robertson; brothers, Willie, Rex and Marvin Robertson and an infant brother; sister, Gladys Faye Robertson. Survivors include brothers, Harlin Robertson of Orville, CA, Tonie Robertson of Riverbank, CA and Conie Robertson of Junction City, CA; sister, Stacie Pickering of Orville, CA, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial chapel with Revs. Aaron and Donald Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery Memorials may be sent to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
