Silas Gary Hyde

Silas Gary Hyde, 78, of Paragould, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at St Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born January 15, 1933 in Greene County the son of the late Grover and Cora Gay Hyde. He was also preceded in death by his son, Gregory Wayne Hyde, brothers and sisters, Ruby Conyers, Ellis Hyde and Chalmer Hyde. Gary was a parts salesman and member of Fairview Baptist Church. He served his country in the army during the Korean Conflict. He loved fishing and deer hunting. He is survived by his wife: Mildred J. Hyde of the home; sons and daughter-in-law: Jeff and JoAnna Hyde, Gary Lee Hyde; and grandson: Casey Hyde. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 12:00 PM, Saturday, with Reverend Dennis Strope officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.
