Shirley Mae Norwood

Shirley Mae Norwood, of Beech Grove, 74, passed away Wednesday in Yazoo, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Shirley Adams. She was a homemaker and was a member of Commissary Church of Christ. She was a veteran who served her country in the U.S. Armed Forces. Also preceding her in death was her infant sister.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donald W. Norwood, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Don and Wendy Norwood and Jeremy and Kim Norwood, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Chelsea (Cody) Cox, Lari Norwood, Jordan Norwood, and Taylor Norwood; sisters, LaDonna Adams, Margaret Callahan, Deana Summers, all of Paragould, and Barbara Bounds, of Bonne Terre, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Shane Henson, Stacy Rice, Duane Norwood, Jason Callahan, Ronnie Rawls, and Jordan Norwood.
