Shirley Jeanne Schatzley

Shirley Jeanne Schatzley, 88, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday at The Green House Cottages of BelleMeade. She worked many years as a store clerk at Big Star and Wal-Mart and was very dedicated to raising her three sons. After retiring and returning to her hometown of Paragould, she spent a great deal of time reading. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould. She was the daughter of the late Jean and Bernice Garner and was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Schatzley, and brother, Russell Garner.

Survivors include her sons, Les (Brenda) Schatzley of Neosho, Missouri, and Bill (Dawna) Schatzley of Paragould, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside funeral begins at 11:00 am at Linwood Cemetery with Bro. Joe Marsden officiating. Please send memorials to the Children's Home, Inc.
