Sharon Gail Parten

Sharon Gail Parten, 67, of Paragould, passed away Saturday morning at her residence. She was a special education teacher and school psychologist who retired from the Paragould School District. Sharon was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by one brother, Ronnie Rooker.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore Parten, of the home; son, Craig (Mandy) Parten, of Metairie, Louisiana; daughter, Christen (Josh) Agee, of Paragould; parents, E.W. and Ann Rooker, of Okean; grandchildren, Alli Agee, Lily Agee, Leeland Parten, and Rhiannon Agee; and brothers, Don Rooker, of Gulfport, Mississippi and Gary Rooker, of Okean.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Heath Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Shawn Willson officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
