Scotta Sharon Napier

Scotta Sharon Napier, 79, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She was born in Jonesboro on April 23, 1943, to the late Titus and Florence Welch. Scotta graduated from Bono High School in 1961 and attended Arkansas State University. She married Gary Napier on November 14, 1970. She was a homemaker and managed rental properties and personal business. However, she was best known for how she loved her family. Scotta adored her children and grandchildren, and she could often be found close to them. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Welch.

Scotta is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary Napier; daughter, Terri Napier and fiance, Shannon, of Paragould; son, Tim (Tiffany) Napier of Paragould; grandchildren, Reece, Canon, and Finley Napier; and sister, Jan Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Sunday at 2 PM at Center Hill Church of Christ with Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
