Sarah Irene Weaver, age 92, of Paragould, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Sarah was born March 23, 1920 in Greene County to the late Thomas and Melissa (Gilbert) Wheeler. Sarah was retired from Ely Walker Shirt Factory and she and her husband also owned and operated Weaver Auto Sales and Salvage, and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Sarah is also preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Weaver; two sons Charles Winford Weaver and Dennis Ray Weaver; one brother Thomas Weaver; three sisters Viola Cox, Flossie Crafton and Velvie Hill; one granddaughter Jerri Lee Cole. She is survived by two daughters Phyllis and her husband, Gene Holmblad, of Paragould and Kathleen and her husband, Jerry Lee Cole, of Paragould; one son Jerome and his wife, Michelle, of Paragould; two brothers Oliver Wheeler of Paragould and Glen Wheeler of Paragould; seven grandchildren Jerome Weaver Jr. and wife, Anna, Terry Weaver, Jeremy Weaver, Steven and wife, Amie Cole, Michelle and her husband, Jon Templeton, Kelly Lee and her husband, Ricky Ward, and Amber Lee Cannon; and several great grandchildren. Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 22, in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Pastor Curt Dwyer officiating, burial will follow in the Finch Cemetery. Visitation iffrom 6-8 PM Friday, September 21 at Heath Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jerome Weaver, Jerome Weaver, Jr., Terry Weaver, Jeremy Weaver, Steven Cole and Freddie Vandon.
