Rudolph "Rudy" Stark

Rudy H. Stark, 88, of Paragould, passed away Friday surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired postal worker and former manager of Paragould Wood Products. Rudy also served in the United States Army in the 1940's. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed antique cars and woodworking. Rudy was the son of the late Ivan and Scena Stark. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Vivian Cash; brother, Glendale Stark; and a grandson.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Stark; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Stanley Meredith of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Debbie (Michael) Lemoine, Wendy (Terry) Rogers, Penny Dearin, Jennifer (Michael) Barber, Don (Kim) Meredith, and Dylan Hewlett; 13 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.

A private visitation will be held. The funeral is Monday at 10 AM at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Kenny Farmer, Scott Hewlett, Jason Beasley, Glen Pillow, James Wallace, and Dennis Hendley. Honorary pallbearers are Bud Hufford, James Hobson,the Sundale neighbors, and Antique Car Club members. Family sends a special thanks to his caregivers. Instead of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
