Ruby Mae Byrd

Ruby Mae Byrd, 89, passed away Tuesday in Jonesboro at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Finis and Levada Littleton Keeling. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, music, and spending time with her family. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Byrd; seven sisters, Ruth Smothers, Ellen Mann, Charlene Steele, Ethelene Widemon, Janelle Killibrew, Joan Traughber, and Barbara Whitehead; and two brothers, J.W. Keeling and Connie Keeling.

Survivors include daughter, Belinda (Jim) Howard, of Paragould; son, Kelly (Tangie) Byrd, of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren, Brittany (Josh) Wilcoxson, of Kennett, Missouri, Cody (Corie) Byrd, of Ocala, Florida, and Caleb Byrd, of Ocala, Florida; great grandchildren, Alexis and Callaway Wilcoxson and Camryn Byrd; brother, Ronnie (Jeanie) Keeling, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; many nieces and nephews; and Cecil Hardin, who was like a son to her.

Visitation will be Thursday evening at Heath Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 pm officiated by Gary Cremeens. Burial to follow at New Friendship cemetery. Send memorials to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
