Royal Eugene Rice

Royal Eugene Rice, lovingly known as Pa, 94, of Marmaduke died January 7, 2010 at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was born in Marmaduke April 28, 1915 to Winslow and Rose Rice. He was a retired farmer and a member of Union Central Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nyrene Garner Rice. Eugene is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rosalie and Al Boggs of Marmaduke; one grandson and wife, Darrin and Shawna Boggs of Marmaduke; one granddaughter and husband Melanie and Steven Bateman of Marmaduke; six great grandchildren, Nick, Dane, Whitley and Jenna Boggs and Josh and Danielle Bateman; and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens with Tim Wooldridge officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home .
