Ronald Lloyd Rodgers

Ronald L. Rodgers, 62, of Armorel, AR departed this life on May 23, 2021 at NEA hospital in Jonesboro, AR. He was born on February 9, 1959 to Virgil H. Rodgers and Agnes Wilhite Rodgers of Paragould, AR.

Ronald graduated from Paragould High School in the class of 1977 and Arkansas State University in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in business. He loved spending time with his family, playing golf, watching Razorbacks sports, and playing cards.

Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers, Virgil and Kenny Rodgers, and grandparents.

Ronald is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 20 years Patricia Hinklin Rodgers of the home, one daughter and son-in-law, Grant and Mallory Pickney of Paragould, AR, two stepsons, Brian Fisher of Dyersburg, TN, and Brandon Fisher of Haiti, MO. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Dalton, Logan, and Addison Pickney of Paragould, and two step-grandchildren, Megan Fisher of Dyersburg, TN, Alizabeth Fisher of Malden, MO, Brayden Wooten, Haiti, MO, brother and sisters-in-law, Gary and Sherrell Rodgers of Jonesboro, AR, Ginger Rodgers of Paragould, AR, and Brenda Rodgers of Bryant, AR, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Linwood Cemetery with Ron Pickey officiating.
