Ronald J.M. Walker

Ronald "Ron" Walker, 78, of Rector, passed away Monday at his home. He was born in Beech Grove. Ron retired from Anchor Packaging and loved to fish, hunt, and sing and play the guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Vanpool Walker; daughter, Ronda Walker-Pawlowski; and sisters, Lucille Tabor, Joy McComas, and Louise Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Walker of the home; sons, Phillip (Brittany) Walker, Anthony (Nicole) Walker, all of Paragould, and Shawn Walker of Rector; daughter, Amanda Walker (Bryce Webb) of Greenway; brother, Ransom (Shirley) Walker of Paragould; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday from 12-1 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 1 pm with Larry McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Wade Boyd, Joe Thompson, Shawn Walker, Bryce Webb, Cody Wood, and Shane Wood.
