Peggy June Bohanning

Peggy Bohanning, 76, of Paragould, passed away Monday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was a retired sales clerk at Belk and a member of Seventh and Mueller Church of Christ. Peggy loved to sew. She also loved children and baby sat for many children. Peggy was the daughter to the late James Otis and Dorothy Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.C. "Chick" Bohanning; brother, Bill Roberts; sister, Sharon Ryles; and brother-in-law, Wendell (Gus) Norwood.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Albert Burk, Beech Grove, and Bridgette and Keith Chunn, Paragould; grandchildren, Cherish Groom, Stephen Rodden, Austin Chunn, Molly Chunn, and C.J. George; great grandchildren, Ella Rikard, Maddox Rodden, and Cora Leigh Rodden; and sisters, Marjorie (Charles) Noel and Joan (Tom) Chailland, both of Paragould.

Visitation is Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday at 10 am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Larry McFadden and Michael Cox officiating. Burial is in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Daniel Summitt, Keith, Brady, and Derek Shollenbarger, Bill Schatzley and Evan Gardner. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Rodden, Albert Burk, Keith Chunn, Chris Gardner and Frank Williams. Memorials may be sent to the Seventh and Mueller Church of Christ or Crowley's Ridge Academy.
