Pearley Eugenia Walker

Pearley Eugenia “Jean” Walker, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, February 17 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center at the age of 87. Pearley was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Walker, her children, Jerry Walker and Debra Bateman, her parents, B.B. and Ethel Burnett, two sisters, Eunice Burnett and Louise Burnett, and a grandson, Garrick Bateman. Mrs. Walker is survived by her grandsons and their wives, Eric and Erin Bateman, Derek and Emily Bateman and Zarek and Rebekah Bateman, her great grandchildren, Abbey, Bo, Abi, Dillon and Zeke. Also surviving is her brother Charles Burnette and his wife Brenda and a host of nieces and nephews. Pearley retired from Emerson Electric after many years. She later chose to go to work for Wal Mart as a door greater. She enjoyed participating in many activities at Rector Rehab and Nursing Home including beauty pageants, card games, puzzles and many other activities.
