Paul Newton Morgan

Paul Newton Morgan, 67, of Lafe, passed away Friday at AMMC in Paragould. He is the son of the late William and Lucille Eakins Morgan. Paul retired from the Highway Department, and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making knives. He was a member of the Crowley's Ridge Black Powder Club. He is also preceded in death by a brother, David Morgan and an infant sister.

Survivors include wife, Harietta Marie Wagner Morgan, of the home; daughter, Sara Morgan, of Conway; two sisters, Erma Branum (Dennis), of Arbyrd, Missouri and Jo Ann Garner (Dale), of Jonesboro; sister-in-law, Lureatha Morgan, of Paragould; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-2:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at Hartsoe cemetery in Marmaduke. Pallbearers will be Tim Eaker, Vern Sanders, Justin Shipley, Tommy Greer, Blake Montgomery, and Hunter Montgomery.
