Papaw Bill Pillow

Vernon "Bill" Pillow, 81, of Paragould, passed away Sunday at his residence. He is the son of the late Vernon Dempsey and Mary Nell Gray Pillow. Bill worked for Coldstream Fisheries, Inc. and was retired from Monroe Automotive Equipment. He is preceded in death by his parents; three daughters, Sharon Kay Mulligan, Donna Chris Pillow and Kimberly Pillow-Lyles; and one brother, Jimmy Pillow.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Pillow of the home; son, Dewayne (Leah) Pillow; two daughters, Shelly (Shane) Cleveland and Kelly (Heath) Brumley; three sisters, Patsy (Junior) Carroll, Linda Fay (Donald) Jackson and Charlotte Sue (Gary) Baldwin; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with the arrival of Baby Pillow in May.

Visitation will be held Tuesday night at the First United Methodist Church from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Worship Center at First United Methodist Church (404 West Main Street in Paragould) with Rev. Dane Womack officiating.
