Ollie Mae Williams

November 18, 1922 — February 25, 2012

Ollie Mae Williams, 89, of Paragould, went to meet the Lord Saturday evening, February 25, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1922 in Clearlake Township, Illinois the daughter of the late William and Olivia Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Gordon Williams Sr., sisters, Mabel, Henryetta, Catherine and Christina Stone, brothers, John and Bill Stone, daughter, Mary Ellen Martin, son, Hugh Gordon Williams Jr. During her life, Ollie Mae was drawn to the elderly which was characterized by her 60 plus years as a Certified Nurses Assistant with 40 years of service at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. It was through this commitment to serve others that Ollie Mae truly demonstrated the love of Christ. Ollie Mae was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by daughters: Darlene Moore of Fairdealing, MO; Karen (Rick) Adams of Lakeland, TN; Brenda (Charles) Goodwin of Brookland; sons: Steven (Monica) Williams of North Las Vegas, NV; Charles (Jo Anne) Williams of Paragould; sister: Jenny Lueck of St. Peters, MO; brother: Frank (Lois) Stone of Manasses, VA; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Browns Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Royce Boling officiating. All family and friends are invited to attend. Honorary pallbearers are Darrel Birmingham, Johnny McCarroll, Bill Grogan, Glen Burke, Mike Varvil and Zachary Fritzs.
