Nola Mae Jordan

Nola Jordan, 94, formerly of Paragould, passed away Thursday in Indiana. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gas City, Indiana where she spent many years teaching Sunday School. Nola loved to garden. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially her beloved St. Louis Cardinals. Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of the late Henry and Gertie May Harness Vanderbilt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Levon Jordan.

Nola is survived by her son, Mike (Kathy) Jordan of Gas City, Indiana; grandsons, Kyle Jordan of Gas City and Paul Michael Jordan of Kokomo, Indiana; sister, Shirley Gunterman and her daughters, Susan and Cathy; sister, Clara Ruth (Harry) Holt and her sons, Eddie and Richard; niece, Linda Roark and her family; and nephew, Gary Vanderbilt and his family.

The funeral is Tuesday at 1 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12-1. Burial will be in Hartsoe Cemetery.
