Mitzi Walls

Mitzi L. Walls, 76, Cardwell, MO, died Friday, February 25, 2011, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born September 12, 1934 in Cardwell, MO to the late Borden D. "B.D." and Francis Lloyd Singleton. She married her husband of 58 years, Edward Walls, on June 7, 1952. She owned and operated Jack and Jill Daycare and was a member of Second & Walnut Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband: Edward Walls, of the home; daughters and sons-in-laws: Linda & David Rousseau of Wappapello, MO, Kathy & Ritchard Zolman of Arbyrd, MO; son: Charles E. Walls of Cardwell, MO; brothers: Bob R. Singleton of Paragould, David Singleton of Bloomfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, . at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 2:00 PM, Monday, with Carl Hollis officiating. Interment will follow at Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Will Brewer, Charles Walls, Ritchard Zolman, Jason Higgins, Carl Hollis and Kenny Walker.
