Mildred Johnston

Mildred Louise Johnston, 85, of Paragould, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born in Missouri on September 18, 1937, to the late Dennis and Almedia 'Mom and Pop' Wilson. Mildred married William 'Nathan' Johnston, and was a very devoted wife. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 31 years of service. She had a tremendous love for her pets and all animals. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nathan; and sister, Glenda Wilson.

Although Mildred had no children, her niece, Elizabeth, was like a daughter to her and Nathan. Mildred was a loving sister-in-law and aunt to many whom she leaves behind.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2pm - 3pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service begins at 3pm. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
