Mavis Maxine White

November 16, 1931 — January 10, 2019

Mavis Maxine White, 87, of Paragould, died Thursday, Jan 10, 2019 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Maxine was a 1949 graduate of Oak Grove High School. After graduation, she began her working career at Ely & Walker Shirt factory and retired after 45 years.
She was a member of Camp Ground Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Christine (Holifield) Cole, a sister, Joyce Kellems, brother Gerald Cole and step-grandson, Andy Johns.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Donna Johns (Lance) and Lisa White (Randy Brickhaus) of Paragould. 3 sons- Jerry White (Lillian) and Christopher White of Paragould and Ricky White (Terri) of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She is also survived by a loving sister in law, Betty Cole, of Royal Oak, Michigan.

Maxine was grandmother to 8 precious grandchildren: Harmony Fortson (Rowdy), Jared White (Cecily), Jacob White (Brianna) , Eric Johns (Rebecca), Jennifer Bland (Nathan), Michael White (Jesse Mae), Brandon White (Toni) and Ashley Grooms White (Ponch Brown).
She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, one niece and two nephews, Randy Kellems of Jonesboro, AR and Robert and Brenda Cole of Michigan. There will be a private burial at a later time.
