Matthew Joel Helms

Matthew ‘Matt” Joel Helms, 27, of Paragould and formerly of Mountain Home, AR, died on Sunday at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 27, 1981, in Paragould. Matt was a self-employed custom wood worker and a member of the 913 Motor Sports Club. Survivors include his companion, Jessica Queary of Paragould, Father and companion, Joel Helms & Karen Rutledge of Paragould, mother and step-father, Kathy & Randall Dias of Brinkley, AR, sister, Kendra Pitchford and husband Landon of Mountain Home, AR, maternal grandparents, Jess & Dixie Brown of Paragould, maternal great grandmother, Evelyn Faulk of Paragould, niece, Camille Pitchford and nephew Bryson Pitchford of Mountain Home, AR, special uncle & best friend, Tommy Brown and wife, Brittany of Birmingham, AL, several other uncles and aunts and many friends. Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Irvin and Irene Helms and uncles Don and Bill Helms.
