Mary Pinion

Mary Virginia Pinion, 93, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Mary was born in Marmaduke on September 29, 1929, to the late Louis and Jewel Cooper. She was married to Bob A.C. Pinion for 51 years. Mary was a retired nurses aide and a proud long time member of Westview Baptist Church in Paragould. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Avery Cooper; and sister, Betty Ruth Gregory.

Mary is survived by two sons, Marvin (Brenda) Pinion of Paragould and Melvin Pinion, Fairview Heights, Illinois; one daughter, Kathy Bacicalupo of Paragould; brother, Danny (Laura) Cooper of Troy, Illinois; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 AM-12 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 12 PM. Officiant will be Dr. Marc Reeves. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Pallbearers will be deacons of Westview Baptist Church.
