Mary Marie Burpo

Mary Marie Millikin Burpo, 95, Paragould, died Monday, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1913 the daughter of the late Jacob and Sally Ward Millikin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Mark Burpo, two sisters and three brothers. She was the owner, operator and bookkeeper for Cache Lake Grocery Store and DX Oil Company and was a member of Center Hill Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Ellen and Jim Groning of Corning and Doris Jean and Don Yates of Searcy; grandchildren and their spouses: Krista and Charles Underwood, Kathie Ashby, Andy Davidson, Rudy and Dekoka Davidson, Myra and Dent Burks, David and Venus Bowers; eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will have private services at Heath Funeral Home and private burial at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
