Mary Gwendolyn Berry Laffoon

Mary Gwendolyn Berry Laffoon, 94, of Paragould, died Saturday, July 5, 2008, St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1914, in Clay County to the late Y.H. and Willie (Evans) Berry. She was also preceded by her husband, Guy Laffoon; one son, Larry Laffoon; and 23 brothers and sisters. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses church. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lowell and Brenda Laffoon, of Paragould; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Christopher and Catherine Laffoon, of Paragould; Greg and Kim Laffoon, of Searcy; and Scott and Sherry Laffoon, of Monette; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Linwood Cemetery with Les Langley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday at Heath Funeral Home.
