Mary Elizabeth Monteith Collier Buck was born on August 2, 1922 to Herbert and Vera Monteith and died on May 12, 2019. Affectionately known by many as, “Moo,” she was a great woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, friend, teacher, and born again Christian.

She leaves behind her children Peggy Collier and Robert Jackson, Sr., Dr. Jon and Ranae Collier, and Mack and Patricia Toombs, her grandchildren Ron Pigue, Jr., David Collier Pigue, Emily Collier Kueter, George Elliot Collier, Robert Jackson, Jr., Erin Elizabeth Collier, and Molly Collier Rawn, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, nephew Robert and Alta Faulkner, sister-in-law Freda Collier Ford, and cousin Jim Barger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and father of her children George Collier, Sr., her husband Wayne Buck, her eldest son Dr. George Collier, Jr., and her sister Ruth Faulkner Cox.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Albert Fonticiella and staff for her care.

The visitation and funeral will be held at Heath Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, with the funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. A private family burial will follow.
