Mary Caroline Bradford Bogan was born October 21, 1927 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Eunice Overby Bradford and William Windom (Bill) Bradford. She attended Paragould Schools and graduated from Paragould High School in 1945. She and several of her classmates referred to themselves as the "Holy Ten".
Upon graduation, she worked as a legal secretary for Kirsch and Cathey Law Firm in Paragould, and worked at MF Block Company for over 35 years until her retirement. After her retirement, she substituted in the Paragould School System.
Caroline was a member of First Baptist Church since March 29, 1959. She was very active in Sunday school and was a member of WMU circle, where she was also very involved. She was a volunteer at Arkansas Methodist Hospital and enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and friends. She enjoyed Arts and Crafts and was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed attending Arkansas Razorback games and never missed any of her son’s games as well.
She is survived by her husband Charles Bogan of Paragould. She is also survived by two sons, Chris Paul of Jonesboro and Brad Paul of Danville California, four grandchildren Julie Paul Mahan of Missouri City, Texas, Windom Paul of New York, New York, Natasha Paul Fitzgibbon of Danville, California and Alex Paul of San Francisco, California, six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Jim Jackson, Jeff Block, Bill Duke, Keith Roswell, Steve Ballard and Mark Mouzy.
A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, September 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Paragould with Rev. Tony Cherry officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Craighead Nursing Center. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be considered in her memory to First Baptist Church of Paragould or The Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
