Marlin Ray DeVoll Marlin Ray “Tuffy” DeVoll, 80, passed away at his residence Monday, January 5, 2009 in Amelia, Ohio. He was born August 29, 1928 to the late Bill and Rudy DeVoll. He attended Paragould High School. He was an Army veteran with lifetime membership in the V.F.W. and of the Baptist belief. Survivors include his wife Janet DeVoll of Amelia, Ohio. Four children Mike Simmons, LeeAnn Clem, Jan Terrell and Monica Forman of Jonesboro, Arkansas and several grandchildren. Two sisters, Virginia Biggs of Paragould, Arkansas and Jesalee Herren of Englewood, Ohio. Step-mother Lodema DeVoll of Paragould, Arkansas, , Step-sister Sandra Sharpe, DeSoto, Missouri. He was also step-father to Janet’s children Taffy, Gilbert, Douglas, Ginger, Larry and Candy. Visitation and memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at E.C.
