Margaret Griffin

Margaret Nancy Griffin, 94, of Paragould went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2018 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro surrounded by loved ones.

She was born November 16, 1923, to Arthur and Maudie Mae Crain. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Tom Pratt and Walter “Alex” Griffin; brothers, Cletus, Vernon, William “Buster” and Melvin Crain; sisters, Ora Lee Crain, Ruth Thompson, Audrey Lamb, Ruby Reynolds.

Survivors include daughter, Barbara(Leon) Johnson of St. Louis, MO; sons, Lindell (Merla) Pratt, Terry (Debora) Pratt of Jonesboro and brother Donald Crain of Jefferson, TX; five grandchildren, Kevin (Kelly) Johnson of Broken Arrow, OK, Lance (Sue) Johnson of St. Louis, MO, Carla (Danny) Jones of Jonesboro, AR, Courtney Barker of Brookland, AR and D.J. (Saraha) Pratt of Pocahontas, AR. Nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and family members.
She loved to work in her yard and loved to take care of all her beautiful flowers, making quilts, sewing, reading and playing Skip-Bo with her special friends. A special thanks to Todd Carlton who has mowed her lawn and checked on her for several years.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hayes and Jackie Vowell officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Kevin Johnson, Lance Johnson, D. J. Pratt, Gage Barker, Danny Jones and Bill Pratt.
