Manuel Tenyson Hammon, age 68, of Paragould, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in Paragould. He was born March 21, 1942 in Greene County. Manuel was owner and operator of Skaggs TV and Music. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved music and was a member of Sugarcreek Band. He is survived by his father, Lester Manuel Hammon; son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Beverly Hammon, all of Paragould; daughters and son-in-law: Debra Salters of Lansing, MI, Carla and Rob Foster of Odessa, FL; sister: Sandy Boozer; brothers: Jimmy Hammon, Frankie Hammon, all of Paragould, Gerald Hammon of Mountain Home; grandchildren: Miranda Lamb, Michael Fleming, Zach Foster, Megan Foster, Darrian Hammon, Randall Carroll, and Richard Carroll and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tennie Hammon and sisters, Marla Sue and Marsa Lou Hammon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 2:00 PM, Friday, with Gary Cremeens officiating. Interment will follow at Browns Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Todd Hammon, Ian Hammon, Dennis Hammon, Rob Foster, Zach Foster, Michael Fleming, Darin Hammon and Randall Carroll.
