Lorene Velma Davis

Lorene Myers Davis, 85, of Paragould passed on to her heavenly home on March 4, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born in Judsonia on April 7, 1928 to Byron and Kezzie Myers. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. She and her husband Marion C. Davis raised 10 children in the Leachville area. She found great joy in her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Happy Corner Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters (Lucy Swann and Lula Bird), brothers (William, Frank and Roma Myers) and daughters, Elsie Mather and Rachel Formon. She is survived by sons, Melvin (Connie) Davis of Davisville, MO, Allen (Karen) Davis, Jack N. (Rhonda) Davis, Myron (Mary) Davis, Jerry Davis, Danny (Judy) Davis all of Paragould, Calvin Davis of Niles, MI and daughter, Evelyn Bowman of Paragould along with numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6 from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Rayburn Formon, grandson, officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
