Leo Cross, 80, of Paragould, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born May 5, 1930 in Randolph County the son of the late Fred and Mable Weitkamp Cross. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one grandson, Bryan Cross. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loree Crabtree Cross; children: Danny and Merry Lee Cross of Greenville, Ohio; Brenda and Larry Singleton, Jerry and Debbie Cross, Tom and Cindy Cross and Tim and Lisa Cross, all of Paragould; grandchildren: Todd and Tracy Singleton, Jonathan Singleton, Matthew and Molly Cross, Timmy LB Cross and Kimberly Cross; great grandchildren, Kyle and Courtney Singleton and Jude Cross and numerous family and friends. Mr. Cross was the founder of Cross Custom Siding, an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener who dearly loved his family. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:00 AM, Thursday, with Reverend Marc Reeves and Reverend J.W. Gibbs officiating.
