Lamona Dawn Hatton

Lamona Dawn Hatton, 83, of Paragould, passed from this life on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was born on August 21, 1938, to the late Rev. H.O. and Lennie Kirkman Shultz. Lamona graduated from Greene County Tech High School in 1956. She married the late Rev. Bill Hatton, and they remained married until his passing in 1989. Lamona was a homemaker, and she was a member of West View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Sonja Gammill; and brothers-in-law, Delbert Dortch, Jay Reddick, and Ralph Gammill.

Survivors include her sisters, Mareda Shultz Dortch of Rock Falls, Illinois, and Janice Shultz Reddick of Jonesboro; brother, Darrell (Gloriela) Shultz of San Juan Capistrano, California; nieces, Dana Reddick Patraw of Paragould, Terry Dortch Albert of Rock Falls, and Theresa Shultz Walden of San Juan Capistrano; nephews, Keith Shultz of Kentfield, California, and Jeff Shultz of Hemet, California; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 2pm with Dr. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in New Liberty Cemetery.
