Ladon Potter Dawson

LaDon A. Potter Dawson, 89, passed away Thursday at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Bertie Barnhill Potter. LaDon was a member of Village Creek Church of Christ. She was a retired manager of KFC, and her hobbies included gardening, sewing, and cooking. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Henery Dawson; son, John Anthony Dawson; sisters, Francis Potter and Frieda Kennedy; and brother Leroy Potter.

Survivors include three brothers, Randal Potter, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Delmar Potter, of Paragould, and Jerrell (Kay) Potter, of Paragould; and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held under the direction of Heath Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Village Creek Church of Christ.
