Kenneth Arnold

Kenneth Eugene Arnold passed away June 3, 2019 at Prairie House Memory Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at age 77.

He was born July 21, 1941 to Jim and Lillie Ragsdell Arnold and raised on his family's farm near Delaplaine, Arkansas. After high school graduation, he lived in Indiana and Illinois before moving back to Arkansas in 1973.

Kenneth was an active member of Unity Baptist Church in Paragould. He regularly visited members in hospitals and nursing homes.

He worked at Barber Greene in DeKalb, Illinois for 10 years and at Monroe for 30 years. He was a hard worker who enjoyed building, buying, and selling real estate. He loved traveling with family and senior citizens groups from coast to coast and enjoyed cruises to Alaska and Hawaii. His favorite tour was to the Holy Land where he was baptized in the Jordan River.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Arnold, Myrtle Compton and Hazel Arnold; and brothers, John, Charlie and Junior Arnold.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 8th with Bro. Chad Robinson officiating. Visitation will be at Unity Baptist Church from 11:00am-1:00pm with the service to follow starting at 1:00 pm. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould. Pallbearers will be Kenny Ashford, Mark Knott, Terry Gazaway, Roger Boggs, DeWayne Gillean, and Frank Rice.
