Katie Louisa Carter

Katie Louise Carter, 102, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Sanctuary at Holy Cross in South Bend, IN. She was born may 24, 1910 in Randolph County, Arkansas they son of the late George W. and Gertrude Tiner Barnett and was preceded in death by her husband James S. Carter. She was Church of God and retired from Ed White Shoe Factory. She is survived by her nieces: Ruby Burrows, Isabel Waggoner, Dorotha Mochel and other family. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30PM at Heath Funeral Home, Friday. Her life will be celebrated at 2:30 PM, Friday, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Kevin Edgar officiating.
