Karen Thurmond

Karen Sue Thurmond, 55, of Paragould, died Wednesday, at her home in Paragould. She was born April 9, 1958 in Kennett, Missouri. Karen was of Baptist Faith and loved baking and cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; Carl Thurmond, of the home; mother: Barbara Jean Flowers of Conway, AR; daughter and son-in-law: Amber Lynn and Jeremy Couch of Monette; grandchildren: Jace and Eli Couch; sisters: Denise Williams of Dexter, MO, Carol Flowers of Memphis, TN, Teresa Robbins of Vilonia, AR; step-son: Dustin Thurmond and his daughter Lexi; mother-in-law: Polly Thurmond of Paragould; brother and sister-in-law: Bobby and Edra Davis of Bono. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Lea Flowers. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:00 AM, Friday, with Jerry Culbertson officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
