Judson Milton McDaniel passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at 88 years of age, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 6, 1931, the oldest of three children born to J. Milton McDaniel and Audrey Norton McDaniel. He graduated from Greene County Tech High School in 1949. Judson joined the Air Force in December of 1951 and served in Korea during the Korean Conflict as a fighter jet mechanic. Following active duty, he joined the Air Force Reserve. In 2017, he was presented a Quilt of Valor by the local Tears of Valor Organization.
After a brief stint working for General Motors plants in Flint, Michigan. Judson returned to Arkansas. He worked for two auto parts stores in Paragould before going to work for Sears, Roebuck and Co. as store manager in Aberdeen, Mississippi, Savannah,Tennessee and Paragould, retiring in 1992.

Judson was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and the mother of his children Virginia Mexine Williams McDaniel. Survivors include his wife, Gracie R. McDaniel; his children - Steven Douglas (Lisa) McDaniel, Virginia Lee McDaniel Gist, Lee Ann (Johnny) Bergin and Roy Martin (Cindy) Walker; six grandchildren - Jefferson Chase Holifield, Cole Douglas McDaniel, Brandi Michelle Gist, Caleb Steven McDaniel, Clifton Eric Overton Walker, Zachary Martin Overton Walker; and two great grandchildren - Harrison Dean Holifield and Cora Ellen McDaniel. Survivors also include his sister Eunice Jane (Frank) Cothren and brother John Leonard McDaniel, along with an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins, and his church family at Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Judson lived out his Christian faith at church, home and in the community. He was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Shiloh United Methodist Church with visitation at 10:00 am. The family requests that memorials be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church.
