Johnny Richard Carr, Sr.

Johnny Richard Carr, Sr., 84, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Place in Jonesboro. He was born in Walcott and was a retired farmer and welder. Johnny was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Tennison Carr; seven brothers and one sister and was the son of the late Rev. Fred and Myrtle Thorn Carr.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of the home; one son, Johnny Carr, Jr., of Memphis; sister, Rose Davidson of Paragould.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am - 1 pm with the funeral service following the visitation in the chapel of Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Atwood officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Walcott.
